Il pianista polacco Piotr Anderszewski, già ospite della nostra stagione di concerti nel mese di ottobre 2010, ha vinto il prestigioso premio della BBC come “Recording of the year” per l’incisione, per la EMI, di brani di Robert Schumann: Humoreske Op. 20, Studien für den Pedalflügel Op.56 (arr Anderszewski), Gesänge der Frühe Op. 133. Il riconoscimento viene dato da una giuria di esperti e dal pubblico che hanno esaminato oltre 1500 registrazioni rilasciate nel 2011.

Intervistato ha così risposto: “I am very honoured to win this award – it has arrived at a special time for me, as I’m currently taking some time off, and it’s wonderful to be reconnected with my profession in this way. I feel passionate about Schumann’s music, am happy that I have been able to communicate my passion with this CD and grateful that it has been so wonderfully received.”
